Something Entirely New…

So yeah, I’m getting a little out of my comfort zone here. Starting a blog wasn’t something I was expecting to do, but here we are.

I’ve been fortunate enough to know several craftsmen in my life. By far and away, the most influential of these would be my dad. I started off learning carpentry and woodworking from him when I was in college, and found I love seeing a pile of raw materials become something meaningful.

A little over a year ago, I built a small workshop in our backyard and started on a few projects. I’m primarily a woodworker but I’m always trying to learn something new. I figured a blog would be a good way to record and share what I’ve made, and what I’ve learned.

Who knows. We’ll see where this whole thing goes.
